近期有不少科技巨头宣布裁员计划，美国科技公司“裁员潮”在2024年继续蔓延。微软公司宣布对游戏部门裁员1900人，美国电商巨头易贝（eBay）宣布裁员上千人，裁员比例将近9%。包括谷歌母公司Alphabet、亚马逊等在内的多家科技公司都加入了这波“裁员潮”。根据裁员追踪网站Layoff.fyi的数据，2024年年初至今，在不到一个月的时间，已有93家科技公司宣布裁员超24000人。而在2023年全年，这一数字为26万。
为什么科技公司裁员不断？综合多家公司声明来看，削减成本、调整投资结构、高通胀压力和消费者需求疲软等都是常被提及的理由。谷歌在近期宣布裁员时表示，裁员是为进一步削减成本，未来希望增加对人工智能等新兴领域投资，同时削减其他领域成本。
新一波“裁员潮”正向多个行业蔓延。近期裁员的企业涵盖科技、金融、零售业、新能源汽车等多个行业，并开始在全球蔓延，包括欧洲软件巨头思爱普（SAP）、德国汽车零部件企业博世、美国连锁百货公司梅西百货等多家企业都受波及。就业服务平台Resume Builder的数据显示，在所调查的商界领袖中有38%认为，他们的公司可能会在2024年裁员，大约一半的人表示将实施招聘冻结，宏观经济的衰退预期和人工智能的冲击是主要原因。

通用与本田开始在美国生产燃料电池
GM and Honda Begin U.S. Fuel Cell Production
近日，本田与通用汽车宣布，双方合资的燃料电池系统制造工厂(FCSM)开始投产。Recently, Honda and General Motors announced the start of production at their joint venture Fuel Cell System Manufacturing Facility (FCSM).
据悉，该工厂成立于2017年，位于美国密歇根州，由本田和通用投资8500万美元联合打造，是全球首家生产燃料电池的大型制造合资企业。Established in 2017, the plant is located in Michigan area of the U.S., and is jointly built by Honda and General Motors with an investment of $85 million, which is the world's first large-scale manufacturing joint venture to produce fuel cells.
通过技术研发、金属采购等多方面合作，FCSM生产的新款燃料电池，相比2019款本田Clarity燃料电池的耐用性提高一倍，制造成本则减少三分之一。Through a combination of technology development and metal sourcing, FCSM's new fuel cell is twice as durable and costs one-third less than the 2019 Honda Clarity fuel cell.

Levi Strauss Announced It Will Cut at Least 10% of Its Global Corporate Workforce
由于销售业绩疲软，总部位于美国旧金山的牛仔服饰品牌李维斯公司宣布，将于2024年上半年在全球范围内裁员10%至15%，希望可以削减成本，并简化运营流程。Levi Strauss, the SAN Francisco-based denim brand, said it will lay off 10 to 15 percent of its global corporate workforce in the first half of 2024 in an effort to cut costs and streamline operations amid weak sales.
